About Mineral Star Roofing

Mineral Star was created in 1989 in the back bedroom of a terrace house in Earls Barton. Barrie Price and Duncan Ward,childhood school chums decided to go into business together in the flat roofing industry. Initially concentrating on the domestic market, then broadening their horizons to the public sector, working on many Northants Schools and earning a reputation for diligent, conscientious and quality workmanship.

As the years went by the two Directors added to the senior management by employing Carey Allen as a third Director. With an eye on the future the Directors worked towards and achieved Quality Mark ISO-9001-2000, the prestigious Rose Award for Safety on site, Silver award for safety from the NFRC and have achieved the Investors in People accreditation.

Mineral Star owe an immense debt to their workforce who have worked to achieve the status of 100% employed being CSCS accredited. Not only this they have constantly produced projects that have been completed on time, with the minimum defects and to the great satisfaction of the client.

Mineral Star are now doing 85% of their work through main contractors, given their extensive accreditation and work record demonstrated by achieving 95% on the Kier Supply Chain process. They have gone from strength to strength, culminating recently in the winning of the prestigious multi million pound Wembley Stadium contract and recently the new Milton Keynes Stadium Contract.
